"An investigation of a series of individuals who identity outside of the safety of heteronormality. Letting the term "queer" manifest through its ambiguous connotations, existing outside the gender binary. The process of self identification becomes a way of signifying part of oneself lending to an active understanding of personal desires. Aspects of the gender binary by classifications, negotiating between straight and gay, leave out series of individuals who fall outside the normative understanding of sexual identification. Fluid Identity is a project aimed at photographing individuals who fall in-between, outside, and against established notions of a solidified personhood."
